I have never been the patient one in the family, the relationship, the room, the world or the universe so having to wait for 3 (+) years to have a baby, well, let’s just say that someone is testing my resilience…..
I am 33 and I live in Philadelphia, PA. I am a skin care therapist (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE) and my husband and I got married in June of 2004 after dating for 3 years. We have 4 four legged ‘babies’ – Dylan is our 7 1/2 year old greyhound, Lily is our ‘we don’t know how old she is but think she’s about 7 years old’ chihuahua, Bella is our 3 year old blue point Himalayan and Cooper is our 2 year old seal point Himalayan (and, no, we did not run out of baby names, nor did we take our baby names out on our poor unsuspecting pets!).
Needless to say, we have room for ONE more….(of the two legged variety).
To say that we absolutely ADORE our animals is the understatement of the century!
I love beautiful weather, the smell of beautiful weather, a breeze, the sound of someone creeping around a room gently, harmony and peace in my life, food in my refrigerator (nothing makes me happier), singing, laughing, stand up comedy, Egyptian Cotton linen spray and the smell of my dog’s ears.
I hate being late, other people being late, spelling errors (especially in BOOKS), inconsistencies, spiders (eewwww!), people treating their animals badly and when people incorrectly say they ‘could care less’ (when the correct version is ‘I couldn’t care less’ (I may be forced to do an entire blog on this!!!!!).
We thought we originally wanted 2 kids but having realized the struggle we have gone through and the cost involved, we’ll be perfectly content if we are blessed with one.
